medusawolf: the art of a. e. brown
does the a. e. stand for awesomely exciting? absolutely enthralling? amazingly enchanting? i don’t know, but i want to be charlotte and spin positive descriptors above his artwork… “some art”… “humble”… “epically superior”…i’m a little excited about this guy’s stuff. when you pop into his etsy shop, don’t just look...

vintage ceramic pink & white pig head from ggiotta
at a glance, this little piggy is rather cute, but the longer i look, the more i think of a pig on a platter with an apple stuffed in it’s mouth. for me, there’s a thin line between cute and disturbing and i’m afraid this guy is sitting right on it.

adorned with garments native to their country, jess hirsch’s animal prints would bring the perfect amount of ethnic whimsy to your walls. i don’t even like chihuahuas, but i’d be happy to bring this little guy home. you can check out more of her work in her etsy shop or see her paintings, sculptures, drawings and installations at jesshirsch.com
spring window shopping @ anthro...
i don’t know why i do this to myself. not only can i not come anywhere close to affording any of these beautiful items, but my six-months-pregnant-self can’t even wear them. i can’t seem to help myself, though. sometimes, i hop onto anthro and the urge to put together outfits is too great to ignore.

erica weiner jewelry
i was actually looking up delicate jewelry pieces to feature on my blog when i came across erica weiner jewelry and got completely sidetracked. {oh, like that’s never happened before!} i appreciate their varied selection of simple, tough-yet-humorous designs and the rescued vintage vibe of each piece. when i get back on track, i’ll be sure to follow up with that delicate jewelry i...

autumnal window shopping @ anthro...
. .
i am a shameless pattern-mixer. a shameless pattern-mixer who cannot afford any of the above or below, but at least this gives me some inspiration for the next time i hit up the clearance racks at gap & target; goodwill; yard sales; or—heck—even my own closet…

a little illustration love...
one of my favorite words to enter into etsy’s search bar is “illustration.” i found myself unable to sleep the other night—again—so i put the search tool to work and wound up discovering a great selection of endearing illustrations. this week, i’ll be sharing with you, the 8 people who read this blog, some of my favorite finds from that night.
pipodoll
though she’s been selling on etsy for a couple of years, i’ve only just now stumbled upon the folk-influenced art of samantha from pipodoll. i’m especially drawn to the warmth that radiates from each colorful piece.
watercolorsblooming
kicking off the week with some work from the artist behind watercolorsblooming. i just love the vintage look of her original hand painted & hand drawn pieces. the affordable pricing is a plus!
{you will be seeing this sweet little fella again in one of my upcoming treasuries}
