i’m not huge on most pieces of initial jewelry, but this i happen to adore.
leave it to me to fall in lust with a fake diamond solitaire. according to the website, crooked jewelers from the civil war era would try to pass these off as real diamonds. not cool, but i have to admit i’d take this over a true diamond solitaire any day.
my dad used to eat those huge, crunchy utz pretzels when i was a kid, so this makes me think of him and smile.
